CORNWALL MG OWNERS CLUB

The Cornwall MG Owners Club is affiliated to the national MG Owners Club and provides social enjoyment for its members throughout Cornwall. In accordance with the National club, a person does not need to own an MG to be a member of the Cornwall MG Owners Club. Any person who has an interest in MG cars is welcome to membership. Indeed, we always welcome other MG owners to the benefits that the national club can provide. Support of the MG marque and enjoyment of driving MG cars is the very basis on which the Area MG Owners Clubs are founded.

From M Types to MG Metros; MGBs to Midgets; P Types to V8s; TFs to MGFs; single people in Tickford two-seaters to families in Z Type saloons - All are welcome.

If your MG is off the road through restoration, accident or refurbishment and you have to drive your GTi, SRi or Japanese hatch-back, remember - you're still a member of the club, so you're still welcome to join in the FUN! Just make sure that you are sporting one of the Cornwall MG Owners Club car windscreen stickers on your Ford, Vauxhall, Mazda or BMW etc.!

SOCIAL NIGHTS

Monthly social nights form the platform for members, old and new, to meet, share information and friendship in the relaxing company of like-minded people. A pleasant and openly enjoyable atmosphere is positively encouraged within the Cornwall MG Owners Club together with a high degree of informality.

The club exists to provide a varied program of events and functions throughout the year and, while it is not possible to please all people all of the time, it is the intention of the Cornwall MG Owners Club to offer something for all to enjoy most of the time. Film shows, discos, beer & skittles, quizzes, guest speakers, competitions, fancy dress evenings and auction nights are just some of the entertainments organised to widen the enjoyment of MG ownership. During the summer months, treasure hunts, scenic drives, visits to attractions throughout Cornwall, and attendances at other Area events are organised by the Cornwall MG Owners Club.

We are definitely not a bunch of 'anoraks' sitting around tables discussing torque settings and crankshaft end floats, although there may certainly be a member with the answers to your technical questions, should your needs arise.

So, come along to one of our monthly meetings and see for yourself the FUN that can be had by being a part of the Cornwall MG Owners Club.
