I have been asked to share some archive pictures of the South Birmingham MG Owners Club.

The SBMGOC was formed in 1983 by Rob Gill and Robert Lynex to offer MG Owners Club members, in the South Birmingham area, an opportunity to meet socially. The Club used to meet on the First and Third Thursday each month at the Nag's Head in Hockley Heath. We regularly had approx. 80 members in attendance and was, possibly, one of the best attended MG Owners Club areas in the country in the early 1980's.

The process of converting the pictures from 35mm Negative transparencies into digital images brought back many happy memories and I sincerely hope that you recognise one, or two, faces in the selection of pictures.

Please enjoy this glimpse into the past and if you wish to share your recollections of the South Birmingham MG Owners Club, please contact me at: areasecretary@cornwallmgowners.co.uk.
